Have bn watching showmax for months now, their streaming was fantastic. i can watch it through my phone at anytime,My subscription process was super excellent,my respect for showmax is second to non,show network is superb anytime any day
I have been seeing showmax advertisment for a while but I never used it until yesterday. I registered and subscribed yesterday so that I will be able to watch Big Brother Naija. My subscription was process was smooth only that mtn show me shege, mtn refused to send me otp. I had to use another number. I was able to do my subscription and I have been watching BBN since yesterday. Thanks to them
Since the change to this new app, the streaming quality has been poor. Despite the options to choose from data saving, basic, good and best quality in streaming, the picture quality is that of data saving or even poorer than that while the selection is on best quality. Sometimes, it improves and then changes back to a very poor quality even while indicating the streaming quality is on best quality.
Downloading movies is another problem. It will indicate downloading while nothing happens only to receive failed download notification minutes later.
Please work on it.
Great app, very minimal data usage Recently though it's been
snowing me a "viewing stopped" error message that pops up
after showing the regular Showmax logo that appears on app
startup for a while. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the
app but it still happens. Before that even my streaming
stopped working, always showing me "playback error" or
"Showmax needs an active internet connection".
I enjoy using Showmax because it offers a good variety of movies and series at an affordable price. However, I often have trouble finding specific shows, even when I know they’re supposed to be available. The search and navigation can be frustrating.
Also, the streaming isn’t always smooth. Even with strong internet, I still experience buffering or the app freezing at times. If Showmax can improve content discovery and app performance, it would be a much better platform overall.
