To be fair, when it works, the picture quality is excellent. But technical issues and pricing

I’ve used DSTV for over 2 years now, mostly for sports and entertainment channels. While the content is good, especially SuperSport and African Magic, the overall experience has been disappointing.

The signal cuts off often during rain, and sometimes even when the weather is fine. I’ve called customer care several times about decoder errors (especially E16), and it can take hours to get it resolved. The subscription cost is also becoming unreasonable. I use the Compact Plus bouquet and pay over ₦16,000 monthly, yet some international channels are still not included. I feel like I’m not getting full value for money.

Reduction of subscription rates

Their subscription increment is too much. Our electricity is not stable and this affects our chance of watching what we paid for. Nigerians should enjoy the “pay-as-you-watch offer “ like some other countries.

Price increment

I like Dstv, they have very nice channels, great views, know unnecessary ads. But the only problem i have with them is the price, the way they increase their prices is too much. Let them be reasonable with their price increment.

Best dish

Personally, I’ve really enjoyed using DStv. The channel selection is great , there’s always something for everyone in the house. I watch sports and movies a lot, and the picture quality is always clear.

Expired subscription without usage

DSTV is good in Nigeria but the problem is that whether you are able to use your subscription or not it will expires at the due date and most time the network is bad

Time Issue

I love Dstv... But the issue I'm having is that they should try and reduce the time the decoder use to boot before it start working... It consume time

Trying though

They are really doing well
Just that prices increase monthly and bot everyone could afford it.
And also when it's raining the network goes off
I feel they should work on that

Not Bad

Dstv is amazing, you can watch almost anything and with their new streaming service too but the cost is high, making it very hard to afford. Overall its great just hoping the cost can be considered because even the least plan there are barely enough channels to watch.

Solid Entertainment

DStv Nigeria offers great entertainment with a wide range of channels for news, sports, movies, and more.
Picture quality is excellent, and their packages are flexible. However, I hope to see more affordable options and improved customer service in the future. Overall, a solid platform for home entertainment.

Good Channels, But the Cost Is Becoming Too High

I’ve been using DStv for a long time, and I can’t deny that the content is good — from sports, movies, to international and local channels, there’s something for everyone. The picture quality and signal are reliable, and I’ve enjoyed many great shows over the years.
