I had an issue with a failed POS transaction at a store in Alagbaka, Akure. I went to Zenith’s branch nearby, and they handled it quickly. They didn’t waste time asking too many questions, within an hour, the money was reversed. That customer care felt real.
Zenith Bank offers easy-to-open savings accounts with zero opening balance. Their mobile app and USSD banking (*966#) are convenient, though the app can sometimes be slow. Customer service is okay but often delayed. ATMs are widely available, but not always functional. Fees are mostly fair, but occasional hidden charges may occur. Overall, a reliable bank for digital users, with some service areas needing improvement.
I opened Zenith account during my NYSC year, I got my allowance through the account, long story cut short,
I Noticed am always the last to get allowance at month end, sometimes I will have to visit the Local Government office to make complaints, they always stated it was my bank network.
I didn't really bother, fast forward to post NYSC, I kept using the bank until I noticed 50 percent of transaction I make on the app fails due to their poor service, when using their ATM card I usually pray it doesn't get rejected, cux there is higher percentage of getting declined
Most time I get debited for outrageous reasons, I once left an amount in the account overnight only to wake the next morning to a debit of over ₦1000
To keep my Life safe I had to discard the bank. I prefer to use Opay now.
I have been using zenith bank for over 3 years now ,the customer relationship is very welcoming ,I remembered when I wanted to open an account with them, I went to their Alagbaka branch which was closer to my house,I was treated well and they explained every bit of the form to be filled in Yoruba language and one of them assisted me to fill the form while I say down.
Zenith bank also helped me get money from my children easily and my son also help me use ussd code with my small phone easily.
Once my children send me money,I receive alert instantly and getting ATM card was seemless for me .
Their monthly charges is not too expensive, no issues with zenith bank so far
I was using the app comfortably o. Untill they bring this their new update, imagine you trying to use otp to complete your transaction, once you leave the page to copy the otp everything will start afresh. They should please do something about this their new update
Zenith bank is a good company but I can't use it as my bank account,there is this day on 11th of April 2023 that my sister sent me to help her withdraw from her bank, that was the day I stood and waited for about 8hours and later returned home with no cash.
